I had a great stay in Brussels, Very central location, affordable, easy access to rooms 24/7, secure with keycards, just about enough WiFi to catch up with emails, fine comfy beds, clean hostel, good ensuite facilities (I was in a 5-person shared dorm), roomy lockers with an easy place to put your lock, etc. I didn't use the kitchen for the short time I was there, but it seemed pretty good with enough utensils and eating space when I poked my head round the door. No complaints really, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay in the centre of Brussels then this is it!

After a long trip (Perpignan Brussels by train) have extensively researched the address in Brussels we finally arrived at the hostyel great Palace qqui is just off the main square of Brussels (therefore very well located)... While the indications on the enamel of reservation have not allowed me to locate the harringstraat Street. (without GPS we apply to a dozen people and other international hostel to find this tiny Street) Brief heruex to arrive around 22: 30... Despite our reservation we had difficulty to accept: the reason (I have over 35 years) it took to negotiate long before be accepted at the price agreed by internet... It wanted me to pyer 60 euros. I didn't know that "(les_auberges_de_jeunesse_belge_sont_reserveses_ales_jeunes_de_moins_de_35_ans) and this was not indicated on my booking"
Very quiet, very clean and ideally situated.
It was perfect!
The all city centre, just next to the grand place, this hostel is very ideal to spend the night in Brussels. the price was the cheapest in the city, the room and bathroom were too modern and cool, the sheets were all white, kitchen had everything I need and the wireless internet was free, even if it was a little difficult to connect 22 room. In short, it is a great place.
The hostel is really great, the location is in the heart of the capital, and the place very clean. I really recommend this hostel.

Absurd the fact that reception is not in the hostel!

The negative points: - work took place during my stay, I remained in the Chamber since in the corridors and common areas there were workers, dust, electric wires... - the check in was in a another hostel has some 2 km from it, therefore, there is not any ' in the hostel of the grand place (not even during the day) to answer the questions, managing the problems... - photos do not really correspond to the hostel from the grand place.
The positives:-very good location, really in the centre of the city.
-staff (of the Inn where it is in check) is very nice.
Hotel in work... or not...? but the pictures have nothing to do, nothing is standard in my opinion. We were near the grand place, for info. Toilet and bathroom had been completed. The rest is really + summary.

The dormitory is clean and nice but this is not at all like the pictures.

- Nos clés n'étaient pas chargées les deux jours, ce qui nous a causé des soucis le premier soir et le 2e soir car nous ne pouvions pas rentrer. Nous avons été obligés de retourner au check in le 2e jour.

this was the gretest place i've been in interRail! cleanfull, excellent beds, bathroom better than my house, perfect for just a sleep or a longer stay.
the worst was that they lie about the breakfast.

Amazing location! very near from the Grande Place and from the Central Station... Very nice rooms and bathrooms. But the outside of the building is horrible.
