Traveller's reviews and ratings
I return not pleased with my stay at Dover Castle and I will not return.
The team is very friendly, l ' hotel is very well placed, but the premises are terrible.
I was in a room of 10 (while I had booked a room of 6: computer bug would appear) in which the single window was doomed. The only way to have fresh air was to walk a horrible air-con which was a noise of just hell-side of my pillow and more hot air produced by behind provided cold front. It could not be moved because related to the window. So I had to sleep with the noise in the ears, cold air in the nose, and all with the radiator which marcahit to bottom beside my bed! If! If!
Showers collective:°((,_avec_les_murs_moisis_qui_ne_sentaient_pas_tres_bon!)
The continental breakfast had the name: tea/coffee, no chocolate, cold milk, chemical orange juice, toast butter jam and cereals. and the rest?
Short, very disappointing and little pleasant hostel for my liking!
A real Spanish hostel close to the city centre of London!
The rooms are clean and assets combined.
The organization is perfect and are very nice and knowledgeable.
The hostel is clean, quiet, and its location can be accessed at the centre of London on foot.
The breakfast is pantagruélique!
During my next visit to London I redescendrais there.
disfrutenlo!
An old building very well located in the city centre and 2 minutes d´un metro. One of the least expensive that l´on can find out prices in the heart of London. The staff is young and very helpful.
On a long stay you feel a little at home because there is a friendly common kitchen where l´on have a box name where to put his food so qu´un space in the fridge even if c´est a little jungle, where l´on can discuss, share moments between travellers or permanent, breakfast (not extra but c´est already ca) included in the Pub of the rez-de-shoed. For people who are not reassured on their property valuable there is pay traps (a little less expensive qu´ailleurs), may be you marketable one taken European if you forgot qu´au UK have another model (otherwise you must pay for it!). The hic are bunk beds which are really bad and grincants. The entire n´est structure not stable if l´un move also l´autre! Mattresses are soft and you often feel come away them... in short, instead of repainting l´établissement l´auberge would do better to change all its beds. There is a bit of the left go also to the level of the maintenance of the premises but it is found in most of the English hostels are really not references (Spain, Portugal, USA... much better).
So when I return to London I return to the Castle Hostel!
Very friendly, clean, simple, pleasant, friendly, super well located, 3 steps from the Metro, and not expensive. It was perfect for 4 nights!
It is that it looks more like a mixed boarding school as a hotel, but it is not something that bothers me. Especially that can cook in the common room. Must provide balls quiès for snorers, but it is such a everywhere. And no problem to leave our bags in the room the day, everyone was doing and nothing has disappeared. Very happy, I keep the address!

A nice hostel! Close to the centre of London and especially London Bridge (very beautiful evening), staff welcoming, rooms cleaned every day... Only small negative points: the House n ° 7 is not pleasant if you stay when it's very hot, and the showers of the last floor are very hot... notice to fans of hot showers! Despite these two points, I recommend this hostel which is not very expensive for young people who want to spend a nice stay in London! As the small pub just below is not unpleasant!
