No remarkable charm, just a place to sleep and have a decent breakfast. There's prostitution in the district, but you shouldn't be surprise to see "peripatetics" in front of "Aristotle's" hotel !

The hotel is nice, the staff is very nice, well located in Athens, not too far from the Metro...

Personally I have spent a good stay.

I found a very cool place, but nothing reliable. Outside the fact that it is located in a dark Middle Street at night, there are no lockers in rooms. Because of this, I was robbed.

O hotel `e muito bom, funcionarios muito prestativos e simpaticos, area comum grande, cafe da manha um pouco caro mas bem servido. Localizao, apesar de me parecer um pouco perigosa, perto de tudo com estacao de metro a cinco minutos.

I understand better why it was cheap: Hotel deadline password, receptionist which includes nothing to what you tell him and who does not understand that at 1: 00 in the morning you're tired and you start to get you excited, because you need to sleep.

El hostel está situado in the peor the peor calle zona de Atenas. Prostitutas y drogadictos por doquier a cualquier hora del día. Por el día ya da constructions andar por alli, asi as imaginad el panorama of por la noche...Cuando the pedimos has a taxista than our hostel al acercara y dijimos that calle estaba la voz... falló No. bromeo in absoluto...

En cuanto al hostel, es cutre y hortera, muy sucio y además que lo Alimentación his muy desorganizados... No. is enteran of nada, te piden todas las hojas de las reservas agenda than utilizan porque es catastrófica. Of hecho, hubo one montón of gente que se quedo sin cama y tuvo that sleep in recepción como pudo, para que os hagáis una idea...

In end no. recomiendo este antro mala manera... in serio, fue a ninguna muerte verdadero error... vale la pena dejare a poco más dinero in algún otro sitio in por lo menos el te garanticen vas a tener cama.

Bueno, as decir sobre este hostel.... No. gran that! Communicational situado in a barrio No. muy apropiado, por las noches is vuelve loco bastante: ejercen prostitucion, hay mucho movimiento in ese sentido. Lo bueno que tiene es que se encuentra a 3minutos of the Omonia plaza is a 10-15 minutos plaza Syntagma.

El hostal No. es a lujo. If teneis solo pensado sleep in El... No. seem evil pero olvidaos cocinar y comer alli, aunque el hostal lo General en su servicio. In invierno es bastante frio y nosotras, ese lado, lo pasamos por almenos a poco evil. Pero lo mejor es el dueño! Yo solo por verlo irìa!ejejej.

The gente dirà as por el precio el servicio es suficiente pero yo creo that tendrìan that poner mas por su parte. Its a poco pasotas.

Very good home, well located (near mouth of Metro), clean, the staff very available and ready to help to simplify the stay or order dinner by phone, for example. The prices are good for Athens.

Need sometimes insist to pay with the credit card because they prefer the liquid!

However, the premises could be renovated inside: tiny elevator and taggé, the room of bath "time" and minimum comfort, beds are a little worn and tagged!

The neighbourhood is somewhat "hot" for going out at night or return later.

Very good home youth hostel, with always a Board and effective assistance.

Just district which is not terrible to the evening!

Pretty good all round. Very informal & friendly staff, but not very well equipped, very cramped bathrooms and kitchen.

We spent 2 nights in Pagration Youth hostel and I highly recommend! The home is really warm, Yannis always has a smile and is always available. Really nice!

It's own, rather quiet (ca is like a youth hostel), in a neighbourhood quiet even at night. I recommend for young people, it is easy to make meetings. In short, we loved!

Good trip!

Not really the best place I've been to.

There were a terrible smell (smoke and/or attic) in my room and most of my clothes were smelling like this after the three nights. That was terrible.

Also the toilet/shower room is not very nice. One morning, I didn't have any warm water at the shower and I had to wait like 30 min., so the warm water thing could be refilled again.

But the people are really nice.

A daux not of a subway station, but the district is not very safe.

Rooms lack a little privacy and showers-toilets are tiny, but very good home, proper maintenance allows this youth hostel to provide the necessary assets for land in the Greek capital. Near the ancient sites. Located in a popular neighbourhood a little dirty and a bit rudimentary, it is sufficient to engage the conversation on the place located 100 metres from the hostel to quickly to immerse yourself in Greek culture.

They are super cool! We were 4 'Youth' of 50-80 years! Etourdie happiness to be in Greece I forgot 2 objects; they all kept carefully! Thank you! I recommend to my kids as well place and prize + as OK for a capital!To feel Greek go see les halles nearby! Thanks to them! It gave me a shot of young this Spartan side!

I would rate the hostel as pretty ok. The staff was friendly in helping out with conveyance routes and general information about the city. However the area in which it is located seemed a lil unsafe at night. The receptionist warned us not to go downtown from there.

But there are some additional facilities that made our trip memorable.

They organize a sailing trip in Aegean Sea (you need to pay additional for this). We did not have plans to go to main island like Santorini and Mykonos. So we went for this one. If you have plans for Mykonos, you can skip this trip.

They also guide you towards a rooftop bar from where you get a nice view of Acropolis.

There were issues of WiFi since we were on a higher floor. So don't be very happy seeing free wifi int he facilities. however they have two desktops for usage free of cost at the reception area...but thats kinda irritating considering you would want to stay in the comfort of your room for that.

The bathrooms were dirty the day we came but were cleaned up the next day and were pretty usable. They charge you 2 Euros extra for an AC room. So be prepared for shelling out that money coz Athens would be pretty hot in summers and you would want an AC in your room at that point.

Overall the experience was ok.

Warm welcome (a shot of ouzo offered upon arrival) and helpful staff. The rooms are clean but provide €1 for a sheet. The sanitary are fair. Unfortunately the Omonia neighbourhood is very noisy and dirty. AJ does counselling to young people to the limited budget and the bruisers.

Quarto bastante agradavel, apesar um pouco quente. Zona central mas num bairro um pouco mau, mas tem policiamento sempre presente.

OS funcionários são bastante prestaveis e no nosso caso, ajudaram bastante. Voltaria certamente a ficar lá, apesar do bairro. Pena não ter pequeno almoço or cozinha

Excelente servicio especialmente en el front desk donde todos y todas eran muy serviciales y amables. Muy limpio, although localizado a pesar de que en los alrededores hay muchos adictos y drogas dealers. Habia policia afuera del hotel. A rato Luego te sientes seguro al caminar por las calles porque estos adictos No. is meten contigo.

Hotel very well located at the level of the city centre, near the Omonia square and the amenities. However, the neighbourhood is full of Indian and of Asian that make the neighbourhood very dirty. Location can be dangerous published but police rode much right in front the hotel. The receptionist is very warm and very helpful! For the price paid the room is suitable and the sheets and linens are changing every day!

Although the location leaves a little to be desired to the extent where the hotel is located near the train station and a little away from the heart of the city, it is a very good price/quality ratio. Breakfast is included and very correct. Good restoration of the building. The rooms are clean and the common parts. Air conditioning (without supplement) is very significant in Athens in summer. The establishment is very quiet. A recommend.

The hotel is clean and well located (near a subway station). The staff is friendly, but could not answer our simple questions regarding transportation to travel outside the capital. The breakfast was good. Bathroom was spacious and well furnished room. We loved our stay at this location.

Auberge très bien située, à deux pas du centre historique et avec une terrasse très agréable! salle de bain et chambres quelque peu rudimentaire mais très propre et l'ensemble est bien entretenu. accueil très agréables et nombreuses activités proposées à petit prix (n'oubliez pas la visite d'Athènes à pied avec Geoges!! une expérience à ne ma ratée - visite de 5 heures du tout Athènes historique gratuite, même si bien sur les "tips" sont vivement recommandés et largement mérités!)

Positive: Helpful staff, spacious rooms and centrally located with easy access to a metro station (7 minutes walk) and only 30 minutes walk from the archaeological sites i.e.

Negative: no wall sockets (annoying if you use rechargeable batteries), no hot water (only 1 day out of 3) and area full of dodgy people, although there are other areas like that in Athens. Extremely noisy city. Watch your wallet/rucksack. Conclusion: I have mixed feelings about Athens.

Girls! If you travelling alone or only 2... dont go there!

This Hostel is not in a good area... all aroud the hostel, we can see a lot of weird guys, travs, junkis, prostit... not good things....

But the people who work there are really nice and helpfull and your not far away of the metro/subways and the tourist things.

Excellent ratio quality / price, home sypathique, small large dej, rooms very correct.

Ideal as a base of Athens visit since located just in front of the tram which led directly to the city centre.

Weak points: - 40 mn by tram route - A 2 x 3 lanes passes in front of the hotel with an intense traffic...

Sympathetic home and copious breakfast! Comfortable bed. Kitchen at disposal: good practice to eat at night as the midi (centre in 15 mn by feet, and know that everything is fairly concentrated level tourism in Athens).

Located in popular street close to major routes and subway at two not.

Positive points:-very friendly staff.

-Well located 50 m from the station Monastiraki (pleasant neighbourhood) - attractive price: 15Euros the night in a double room with breakfast (all-you-can-eat) negative Points:-rudimentary comfort: bed, 1 single taken power. Heating failure. Floods the soil of systematic bathroom after each shower (as often in Greece!) - no elevator - very noisy on street side.
